Sam Harper is the Publisher of the Waco Buzz (thewacobuzz.com), a digital media outlet dedicated to the people and stories that make Waco worth talking about. A transplant from Hawaii via Chicago, Sam arrived in Waco in 2011 and quickly fell in love with the city. After 13 years in ministry and tech sales, he jumped at the opportunity to take over the Waco Buzz in 2024 — and hasn't looked back. Known for showing up everywhere and knowing everyone, Sam lives in Waco with his wife Carolyn and their three kids.
